From innovation to business

Jacky Munger, the inventor of the process behind Speedlingua, has always had difficulties to understand and learn foreign languages. After having undertaken a test, he realized that his limited abilities to hear high frequencies were the main cause of his learning difficulties. He persisted in this direction and, with the help of a musician friend, discovered that his own voice could be adjusted upwards or downwards and creates an auditory stimulation that produces surprising results. His voice adjusted itself to the new frequencies that was reaching his ears !

Based on this finding and after numerous tests in studio, proof was made that the voice, pronunciation and the way in which we talk were directly linked to listening abilities. This revolutionary process was able to "open" ears to the subtleties of other phonetic languages.

To bring this idea to life, Jacky Munger contacted Martin Velasco, entrepreneur and business angel ", which was immediately excited by the originality of the invention. He sensed the high potential, which fit in nicely with the philosophy of its other activities aimed to provide a better society.

He brought together a group of investors to create the company and bring together experts capable of achieving this ambitious project. A team of engineers was formed and developed the first software capable of processing voice in real time. The results of the application prototype exceeded all expectations.
