Régis Burrus

Board Member

Régis Burrus has been Board Member of Speedlingua since 2007. On January, 1st 2009, he will join Speedlingua as Head of Business Development.

Before joining Speedlingua, Régis was during six years an Associate with Ipercast, a streaming services provider, in Paris. He held the position of Head of Sales in Europe.

From 1995 to 2002, Régis held various positions in the marketing department of new telecom operators : OtelO (Veba), Cegetel Entreprise (Vivendi), Completel.

Régis started his career in 1990 with Ascom as a product manager in the marketing department of Ascom’s Headquarters. Subsequently, he represented Ascom in Brussels as Delegate for European Business where he identified new telecom markets in Eastern European countries with the support of the European Bank for Developpement.
 
Régis is co-founder “Generation Enterprises” now “Valeurs d’Avenir”, a French Association promoting ethical issues in Business. Since 2008, he is Vice President and Board Member of the Guile Foundation (CH) which aims at engaging corporate responsibility and social investment in areas covered by the UNO (NY), i.e. human rights, labour norms, environment, and anti-corruption.
